We've been doing this UA-cam thing for a couple years now, I figured it was time to update the About! We got our start alongside Michael in the earliest days of Hook, Line and Chill. While Trotlining has since become a major part of my life and interests, we wanted to explore into the far reaches of outdoor shenanigans. On this channel you'll find a hodgepodge of fishing, gardening, hunting and cooking, but even a couple years in, I consider our channel in it's early stages. We are saving up for a chunk of land where we can really stretch our legs and get to the content we're most interested in, bush survival, primitive hunting and trapping, much larger gardens, and outdoor cooking. We're excited to see how things are evolving, we hope ya'll will enjoy as well!

Located on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai, this trail is a 6.4 mile out and back, with over 1500 feet of elevation change. It will kill your legs, take plenty of water! As the sun's path changes for winter tilt, we've noticed that the beds closest to the north wall are no longer getting any direct light, and with several volunteer potatoes about to be doomed for winter, we decided to clear out any spuds we could find. Our dipper Gourd plant has given us our first couple gourds to be hung and dried. First time growing these, and I had no idea how many I'd end up with. If every single gourd makes it to drying, I'll have around 40 from just 2 plants!

Hey Little Neighbor.. Im just now recovering from a shot and letting go we are not pickey straight lining a healthy season the hello from friends every single word that comes up two training fences filling up the area over coming a blocked path so lets get to digging because some things are drying and we wont to be better for tomorrow divorcing what the worlds that that will work " really" a goodness that mosses the let go i could give free plants but it matters what we dug out like water on the patio.. the sheep know the voice of the shepherd and the shepherd knows his sheep In our own words " perfectly healthy crop for the rest of the season enough water"... the mosquitoes are bad I tell ya......

This indeed is hard to watch...I have pictures of my girls sitting on THAT tree :( ...that's gone :( I had wondered if it survived and now I know it didn't ...thank you for sharing this ....
I'm sorry to be the one to break the news. The memories stretch across the world and many generations. I, myself have photos of a loved one who grew up there, who is no longer with us, sitting under some of those trees. It's tough, but people who love the island are the reason she's recovering!

Hi Nina, love your videos. You mentioned that "you can't plant potatos anywhere you have ever planted onions..." something similar anyway. Could explain why? I am using your jingle to rotate my small raised beds (thanks for that). I appreciate you sharing your knowledge!
You can't plant tomatoes in soil that's ever grown, or will grow potatoes. They're both members of the nightshade family and share many diseases, pests and fungi. Theoretically you still could plant them next to each other, but neither one would do very well, and you'd risk losing one or both crops. Appreciate you asking!
